What to expect

Garden d’Lights is an outdoor, walking event. The route is about three-quarters of a mile, and most visitors spend 30 to 45 minutes viewing the display. The path is made of compacted gravel, which the Garden describes as ADA-compliant, but visitors may encounter uneven areas and puddles. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes with good traction.

Guests may bring one individual beverage and a small snack. Larger food items are not permitted. The Trillium Store is open during the event from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Parking and arrival

Paid parking in the Garden’s lot is $5 per vehicle, subject to availability. The lot often fills. Free parking is available at Wilburton Hill Park, about a quarter-mile east of the Garden on the south side of Main Street. Parking in the Garden lot is free for visitors with a disability parking permit; show the permit to the parking attendant.

Rideshare vehicles, shuttles and buses can drop off and pick up passengers in the Garden’s loading zone. Bus and shuttle parking is not permitted at the Garden. Check the Garden’s parking maps and arrival information before visiting.

Sensory Friendly Night

Garden d’Lights’ Sensory Friendly Night is Tuesday, December 8. The lights remain on, but there is no live music, and attendance is limited to create a quieter experience. Tickets are required.
