Bellevue hotels can offer guests a complimentary one-hour bike rental with The Line Bike Experience, giving visitors an easy way to explore the Eastrail and experience Bellevue by bike.
Each participating hotel has received a limited number of vouchers. Front desk, concierge and guest services teams should know where their hotel stores the vouchers and how their property has chosen to distribute them. Some hotels may reserve vouchers for VIPs, but there are no program eligibility requirements. Any interested hotel guest may receive one voucher per person while supplies last.
The Bellevue rental kiosk is located directly on the Eastrail near Wilburton Station. Guests should travel to Wilburton Station, walk south across the NE 8th Street pedestrian bridge and look for The Line’s flags and pop-up kiosk along the trail.
Guests can reach Wilburton Station on the 2 Line or use Bellevue’s free BellHop shuttle. There is no direct vehicle access to the trailhead, and parking near Wilburton Station is limited.
The Line Bike Experience Bellevue Eastrail location is open Friday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Choosing a Route
Riders can choose their own route, but the Eastrail is the recommended experience. The flat, car-free rail-trail allows guests to begin riding within minutes of picking up their bikes. Riders can travel north toward Kirkland and Woodinville and will later expand to include access to Mercer Slough Nature Park, Lake Washington and Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
The Line offers electric gravel bikes, non-electric gravel bikes and hardtail mountain bikes. Riders must be at least 16 years old to use an e-bike. Every rental includes a helmet, and all riders must sign a waiver.
